Business Project Manager

Within the P & C Retail department - LAR branch, we are looking for a Project Manager Business who will be part of this department's QPC team, and who will take part in the structural transformation of legal protection claims management, underwriting and the legal protection distribution broker by providing support for innovation and transformation projects.

His or her main responsibilities will be to:

 
  • Frame the project in the upstream phase with the main stakeholders, in coordination with the activity's management team: in connection with the disaster management strategy, identify problems/causes and possible solutions, assess and prioritise to facilitate the process of decision-making in line with management strategy, analyse the impacts in terms of process, internal/external organisation, IT, etc.), define an implementation plan as well as resources/budgets, etc.
  • Get actively involved with the business concerned, to understand its aims, features etc. and assist the team in the implementation of actions, improvements, etc. in the field.
  • Deliver the project, by coordinating management / project team members and their line managers (on time, on quality, on budget, on relationship), ensuring risks and potential blocking points are proactively highlighted
  • Monitor the definition of the change management plan (communication, training, internal/external, instruction booklet, preparation of tools / monitoring tables, etc.) in a perspective of membership of the transformation.
  • Assist the operational team in the implementation of the change.
  • Assume the role of project manager in terms of follow-up (reporting, budget tracking, management of dependencies, risk management, etc.)

  • Master's degree
  • Minimum 3 yearsprofessional experience
  • Experience in project management, initial experience in agile project management is a plus
  • Initial knowledge of the P&C insurance profession is not required but would be an asset 
  • Interest and motivation in learning the insurance profession, within a context of transformation
  • Language: fluent in French, Dutch and English are a plus
  • Solution and result oriented, in connection with the strategic direction of the Retail department and AXA Belgium (delivery-oriented)
  • Practical and pragmatic attitude; "hands on" behaviour.
  • Adaptability, flexibility and ability to collaborate with other teams.
  • Structured communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisation skills
  • Team player and good collaborative skills with other teams
